TOURNAMENT NOTES:

-- The winner was Burt Boutin from Henderson, Nevada.  Boutin is originally from Pennsylvania.  He was (and remains)
a highly-successful stock trader when he is not playing poker.  Boutin is 39-years-old.  He has three children.

-- With this victory, Boutin officially became the 77th “WSOP Millionaire” in history.  He has now won over $1 million at
the WSOP dating back to his first cash in 1999.

-- This was Boutin’s second WSOP gold bracelet.  He previously won the $1,500 Pot-Limit Hold’em tournament back in
2001.  That was also his first WSOP cash.

-- By odd coincidence, Boutin won his first WSOP title by defeating David “DevilFish” Ulliot in heads-up play.  Six years
later at this final table, Boutin was all-in against DevilFish with his tournament life on the line.  He spiked a nine for a
straight and dashed Ulliot’s hopes for revenge.  The DevilFish ended up going out in third place.  He was forced to
watch history repeat itself, as Boutin took the top prize.

-- This was the richest pot-limit Omaha tournament in history, by far.  The total prize pool amounted to nearly $3
million.  First place paid $825,956.

-- The top 18 money list read like a “Who’s Who” of poker.  Ten of the final 18 players hold WSOP gold bracelets.  The
final table of nine players included a combined seven former gold bracelets previously won -- John Juanda (with 3
wins), Humberto Brenes (with 2 wins), Burt Boutin (win one win), and David “DevilFish” Ulliot (with one win)

-- The final table will be telecast by ESPN, most likely in July or August.  The air date has yet to be determined.

WSOP GOLD BRACELET WINNER
EVENT #7 – BURT BOUTIN

The winner was Burt Boutin from Henderson, Nevada.  Boutin is originally from Pennsylvania.  He was (and remains) a
highly-successful stock trader when he is not playing poker.  Boutin is 39-years-old.  He has three children.

With this victory, Boutin officially became the 77th “WSOP Millionaire” in the 38-year history of the WSOP.  He has now
won over $1 million at the WSOP dating back to his first cash in 2001.

This was Boutin’s second WSOP gold bracelet.  He previously won the $1,500 Pot-Limit Hold’em tournament back in
2001.  By odd coincidence, Boutin won his first WSOP title by defeating David “DevilFish” Ulliot in heads-up play.  Six
years later about mid-way point at this final table, Boutin was all-in against DevilFish.  With his tournament life on the
line, he spiked a nine for a straight and dashed Ulliot’s hopes for revenge.  The DevilFish ended up going out in third
place.  He was forced to watch history repeat itself again, as Boutin took the top prize in this tournament.

After his win, Boutin was asked which of his two gold bracelets in more meaningful.  With both of them dangling from
his wrist, Boutin proudly proclaimed “this one,” which in a way symbolized that each victory has different meaning.  He
noted that this Pot-Limit Omaha event was one of the toughest poker lineups in history.  “They are both special in their
own way,” he said.  “But to win this one versus such a tough field, well that is something that really will stay with me for
a long time.  I do not think I will be able to sleep tonight.”

This was the richest Pot-Limit Omaha tournament ever held, anywhere -- by far.  The total prize pool of the tournament
amounted to nearly $3 million.  First place paid $825,956.

The top 18 money list read like a “Who’s Who” of poker.  Ten of the final 18 players held WSOP gold bracelets.  The
final table of nine players included a combined seven former gold bracelets previously won -- John Juanda (with 3
wins), Humberto Brenes (with 2 wins), Burt Boutin (win one win  now two), and David “DevilFish” Ulliot (with one win).
